Deciduous and evergreen trees

Plants can be:

DECIDUOUS if they lose their leaves in autumn. 
(Los árboles de hoja caduca pierden sus hojas en otoño)

The oak (roble) is a deciduous tree.

The poplar tree (álamo) is a deciduous tree.

EVERGREEN if they keep their leaves all the year long.
(Son de hoja perenne si mantienen sus hojas todo el año.)

The olive tree (olivo) is an evergreen tree.

The fir tree (abeto) is an evergreen tree.
